By cameraluv • Jul 8th, 2009 • Category: News, PhotographyWe don’t know much about Angela Kohler’s, early history, but we know she’s an amazingly talented photographer. There’s speculation she was found in a basket destined for Greenland as a baby and raised by a lion tamer named Ivan along with his wife Gretta. Later, while summering in the Puget Sound with her uncle Geofrey, she was given a camera as a reward for learning to tie her shoes and has never stopped documenting her wild life.
When she’s not traveling to more than 8 countries in two months with clients like Microsoft, she resides in Los Angeles, California. She also works with a host of other clients you’ve heard of like Old Navy, Scion, Lexus, SOMA magazine, Eliza Magazine, HL magazine, Travel Girl and more. Recently she’s taken on some more personal projects like Ruby the Red and a very interesting Notebook/Diary of her images and thoughts about life, many times accompanied by paint or collages.
Below is a sampling of just a few of our favorite images from Angela’s ever-growing portfolio. Contact her for your next fashion shoot, ad campaign or world traveling adventure.
