PDN’s 30 Most Influencial Photographers of the Decade

By cameraluv • Jan 28th, 2010 • Category: News

In preparation for their 30th Anniversary Issue, PDN asked it’s online readers who the most influential living photographers of the last decade were. There where tons of responses and it caused quite the controversy because many couldn’t agree that some seemingly unknown photographers where really as influential as voters claimed. Many attributed them making the list to their reach with social network sites like Twitter and Facebook.

To deal with the disparities PDN decided to do three lists: Votes by number of individual voters, Votes by votes received, and number of votes per voter

Here’s their first list of 30 Most Influential by number of Individual Voters:

  1. I was interested to see some of the photos from photographers on this list. I have only checked out the top ten and i must say a couple of these shooters have certainly produced some iconic images that will make sure they are remembered well after they have left this earth. Some of it truly incredible work.

Thank you for posting the links.
